Went at lunchtime today and had a really delicious meal. Both the prawn and hot wings starter were amazing and the portions were very good. I had ribeye steak for my main which was well seasoned and had a lovely texture at any stage of its cooking (I had it on the stone). I particularly enjoyed the little pots of peppercorn and blue cheese sauces that accompanied my steak. I will definitely return here!

Was recommended by friends . First time came here I had salmon and my fiancee had risotto was abouslty stunning. Starters was lovely as well, we are both looking forward to going next time. My fiancee said he's found his favorite restaurant in clacton now. And will look forward to eating locally now as we tend to eat out in colchester untill today,what a gem love the black board walls as you walk in,big airy restraunt ...defo next time bring the family. black rock loved it. Staff where wonderful and attentive .can't wait to come back Xx

Never been to the Black Rock but thought give it a go so went with some friends , from starters to dessert was absolutely great. We wasn’t rushed and wasn’t forgot about either. Staff were great to had a laugh they had a good knowledge of menu so we knew what we was ordering which reflected in the tip I left . Would definitely go again 10 stars

First time going to Black Rock for my partners Birthday, Had my first steak on a stone. Dont think I’ll ever eat a better steak. Great service and very beautiful restaurant, definitely going back if I could give it 10 I would.
